It was great to meet other, fellow bloggers! (But no-one seemed to like having their photo taken!) There was some fab stuff to buy -
**********************
And now today - having just replenished my space in the shop in Leominster (quite a few sales this, my first, week - hurrah!!), I'm trying to relax. But I feel quite wired!! Lovely and sunny in the garden, though, so I must try and sit down with a cuppa and ignore the weeds! -
Have a great week!
Looks very exciting, but what did you buy???? Glad you've had a successful week at No.14 x
ReplyDeleteGlad the sale went well....
ReplyDeleteHow come you have sunshine????? It's bloody grey & miserable here. xxxxxx
ReplyDeleteLucky you to be able to sit outside with your cuppa today - it's too cold here for that though in the conservatory in the sunshine it was good! Glad the Jumble Sale went well - I picked up a card about that at the Flea Market at Shepton Mallet last week but it is a bit far to go from here for me. Enjoy the rest of the weekend and many thanks for your kind comments on mine.

So much stuff to buy... a bit overwhelming. And as the last commentor said, lovely for you to be able to sit out in the sun. Although it is making brief appearances, it is very chilly out there.
ReplyDeleteHello dear,
ReplyDeleteIt went well the sale?
I'm happy for you, I would be there,
sin you have not taken in April!
A hug
SUSY
Suns out here too and making me feel very optimistic for Spring. Looks like a great Jumble. xx
ReplyDeleteSophie - 'Why, I bought nothing' *sees Mr VTT leave the room* - actually, bought loads!! - several lacy bits, a wooden salt box, a gorgeous plate.....pics tomorrow if I get time!! There was tons to buy! Abby x
ReplyDeleteLucky you, I would have loved to have sat in the garden with a cuppa today! Hope you will able to use the Shepton Tickets & I will see you there! Lizzie x

ReplyDeleteWow, I would have loved to have had a good rummage through all these treasures, I love the pics you have posted.. The flower pics are lovely... fingers crossed the warmer weather isn't that far away! Sarah x
ReplyDeleteI've just seen Jayne's pics and now yours. What a brilliant event.
ReplyDeleteFantastic! Would love to attend - shame you are so far away.
ReplyDeleteWouldof loved to of been there at your Jumble, we don't have Jumbles in Italy. ciao Alison What lovely bargains.
ReplyDeleteWell done on all your sales at the jumble and at no. 14. It really does give you a buzz doesn't it when you have chosen something to sell and someone else likes it enough to buy it too. What did you buy at the jumble? Like the make overs in the last post especially the stool. I like the bag too. Good for you for treating yourself!
ReplyDeleteI like the look of those stalls...would just love to browse around there. I'm so pleased your first week has gone well - must be a real boost.
ReplyDeleteI live almost on the doorstep of the jumble sale venue but something VERY last minute came up on Saturday morning which meant I couldnt come....... pah! Glad it was such a success.
ReplyDeleteWow there was alot of treasures to be found for sure....what a dreamy time! I love your flowers.
ReplyDeleteHello Abby.. thank you for coming along and being part of a lovely day!
ReplyDeleteIt was good to meet you.

I'm quite miffed about not getting there in the end. Jack had a party and it would have been a tight turnaround for us. Glad you had a successful time. Do hope there's another one!
ReplyDeleteThe jumble looks amazing, I am jealous!!!
ReplyDeleteI am glad you had a great time and hope you sold loads!!! x
ReplyDeleteDear Abby,
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a fabulous sale with temptations left, right and centre.... Haha, you are just like me... "What, who me? No, I hardly bought a thing..." when the man sighs and rolls his eyes...
What a wonderfully sunny spot you have got there and good for you to make the most of it. I sometimes struggle to allow myself to stop and "smell the roses", but the English tradition of a "nice cuppa" certainly does help slow things down when they need slowing down... if that makes sense...?
SO thrilled for you and your spot in the shop in Leominster. I would love to visit you there one day! With a very hectic schedule this spring, I am not sure when I might be able to, but it is on the wish list.
Thank you for your - always - so kind and encouraging comments. Yes, what is it about those doors that make us love them so much, even if (or perhaps because) they are falling apart...
Lots of love to you and a I wish you a sunny week with lots of "cuppas".
Helena
Hi Abby
ReplyDeleteIt was lovely to meet you and Mr VTT. Andy and I can finally relax after a hectic but fun weekend. The jumble was fabulous and what a great atmosphere, I think everyone enjoyed themselves. Hope you are going to do the next one. Have a lovely week.
Jo xx
PS. Andy is so thrilled with that lovely little book.
That looks like so much fun! We don't seem to have much of this sort of thing around here, wish we did. Congratulations on your sales!
ReplyDeleteNice looking jumble for sale and cakes too, lovely sunshine and plants out in the garden... ummm.. think I am living in the wrong end of the country!
ReplyDeleteGlad you are doing well in the shop :) Abby x
