Just don't mention hearts........

Some wonderful evening skies this week -

And saw a pheasant in the garden yesterday - don't usually see them near here -

***************************
Got some fun things yesterday - a great tin - like a thick book, with some glasses on top! -

(Can't get it to load the right way!)

And a pretty plate and cake server -

and a cake cutter and server (or, indeed "kut'n'serv") -

(wrong way again, sorry!)

(It's got quite a sharp blade on it!)

********************
Been making lots of heart-shaped (aaarrrggghh, don't mention hearts!!) lavender bags recently - for Valentine's Day? - market on Sunday in Ludlow (though the forecast is for heavy rain :(  )

*******************
Been tiling the kitchen splashback this morning - makes your hands horribly dry :( - (tiles not grouted yet..) -

Off for a cup of tea now -

And then to see Ruby later :) -

  5. What a colourful little poppet is Ruby! So lovely to see such a littley dressed in bright, cheerful colours. I tried this with my granddaughter, only to find that her mother preferred pastels and 'labels' and my offerings were shoved in the bottom of a cupboard. The start of a downhill slide in the relationship. I could just never get it RIGHT, you know? So I gave up trying.

  27. Oh, the plate sure is pretty (and it is blue and white!) And a pheasant! We do rarely see them here, and never in the winter. How I long for spring and summer... for the birdsong and the rare sighting of pheasants.

Thank you for your visits and lovely comments in my blog. They are so so appreciated!
