Really uplifting!
I went to our local garden centre and they had 50% off all plants - I got various evergreens to provide a bit of colour. The garden centre's one of those that sells gifts too - and I got this pretty necklace in the sale -

Scoured a few charity shops yesterday and got some lovely old cups and saucers / jug and bowl - only 2 cups sadly -
And these lovely rose cups -

Been 'playing'with new extension. Pretty paper birds from Baileys http://www.baileyshomeandgarden.com/index.php/ - :)
And I've painted my little herb cupboard -
Have a good week!
love to see what you find at the thrifts (as we call charity or op shops)
ReplyDeleteLovely teacups and saucers!
ReplyDeleteI would love to have the weather like that too.
Lovely lovely things, you would love the garden centre near me. xxxxx
ReplyDeleteLoving the necklace and the rose teacups. We don't seem to get pretty cups too often in our charity shops and when they are, they are at extortionate prices!
ReplyDeleteooh love the little birdies... love what can be found at garden centres.... and no where else it seems.
ReplyDeleteLove your string of paper birds too....

ReplyDeleteLovely sunny weekend here! Those cups are so pretty and the necklace - we went to the garden centre too and came back with a few sale items:)
ReplyDeleteWow, you've been busy. I must get back out into the charity shops - I haven't been for ages. Really like the china you've bought.

Thanks, emmabear - I'm flattered - but I think I'll say 'no' - hope that's not rude! x
ReplyDeleteHey the necklace reminded me of some sweets I ate as a child - spangles? if I am not mistaken! Well here in North Yorkshire we have had rain yet again today and yesterday although the sky was blue the pavements were lethal as a thin covering of ice was everywhere. One of our hens had a "skate" when rushing for her breakfast I had a fall too, but no damage due to my ample padding! lol!
ReplyDeleteOoh, I love Baileys - have to be really restrained when I go there. Taking the husband usually helps!
ReplyDeleteThe rose cups are so pretty, love the view from your french doors, oh, and the casually placed bottle of champers!
ReplyDeleteLoving all your finds.
