Flowers in the house.........

Linking in with Jane at Smallbutcharming HERE  for Flowers in the house -

Lots of flowers in the garden at the moment here, so I'm forever making up posies. This one's pink roses and acid green Alchemilla -

And this one's a mixture - Johnson's Geranium, Astrantia, Alchemilla, white and pink roses, white and pink Valerian, Love in a mist, Scabious -

This one looks pretty on my new shelf unit -

And a simple - but highly scented - jug of honeysuckle -

Some yellow Flag Iris -

All the flowers are from our small garden -

Well, I've been working hard today, so I'm off to have a hot bath, then I shall visit all your Flowers in The House blogs!

  1. Small but very pretty garden.

    What beautiful, fresh, posies.

    They would look good anywhere.

you have just made me want to plant more.

  3. The roses with the alchemilla are right up my street, and the jug of mixed flowers is swoon-worthy! Need to plant more flowers for cutting in our really small garden (yours looks like acres compared to our teeny yard!)

    1. The garden's big enough, especially as we have the 'borrowed landscape' of the adjoining meadows. It's just that our previous house had a huge garden! x

  9. You are really clever with your flower combos! Liked the top one so much I've just gone out and copied it! We have plenty of Alchemilla in the garden and the roses are coming on a treat now. Love the posy on your new shelf too, that purple geranium is so pretty x

  17. Dear Abby,
What a floral feast you offer us readers here! I immediately fell in love with the first bouquet in particular, as the colours are so stunning and go so well together!

Yes, definitely high time for me to find time for my favourite hobby: flower-picking! And if not by the road side, then at least in the local flower shop!

I hope you are enjoying the summer and wishing you a lovely rest of this wonderful season.

  20. I love having flowers all over my home. They're usually dotted around in small glass bottles. I need to find myself an enamel jug of two. Your garden is so lovely as are your floral displays.
