Check out the pool :) -
Truth be told, I read about it in a Sunday paper and thought the long weekend price was for 2 people - but it turned out it was per person..... By then I was smitten, so we went for it anyway! You get an evening meal at the hotel, a meal at Jamies and a meal at The Beach Hut....... :)

A trip this morning to the local charity / thrift shop yielded some pretty china -
I'm not too keen on these ones, but they were made for Harrods, darling, so who I am to scorn! -
My own, simpler, tastes were more pleased by this jug, which I think I'll keep. Very Springlike, fresh colours -

My mum-in-law continues to do well, after her big op - thanks for all your good wishes. She's home now, so I took her a posy of flowers from the garden -
See you next week!
Hello:
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful time in Cornwall. How lovely to be spending time by the sea and we do so hope that the weather will be kind to you.
The jug is so smart. Like you we are less smitten with the Harrods' china but then, as you say, it is Harrods!!
Hotel looks amazing right by the sea, and with lovely meals an fresh sea air hopefully you will feel rested and pampered after a trying time.
ReplyDeleteGlad your MIL is doing well, the flowers are lovely!
Wonderful china, really like that sweet simple jug.
Hope you have a brilliant time! Take some photos please!

You'll love it down there. If you get chance go to Mawgan Porth to Scarlet Hotel for a pre-dinner drink. It's amazing, fabulous views if on the expensive side. From a jealous Anne xx
ReplyDeleteBrilliant. I know where that place is and it's a lovely spot. Keeping everything crossed that the weather delivers for you. Have a lovely relaxing long weekend. x
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful posy of flowers from your garden, I'm so impressed. I hope you have a lovely time in Cornwall, it looks fantastic.
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous charity shop finds, I particularly love the one with a lot of green at the top. I can't resist such things but do I have the room to store them, or enough people around my table to use them - no! I wish you a very happy restful time in Cornwall, we have just come back from 4 days near Porthleven - between raging gale 1 and raging gale 2 and had a fab time
ReplyDeleteWow to the hotel. Enjoy. I'm sure your MIL will enjoy her lovely posy.
ReplyDeleteLove from Mum
